Sources:The drug is the herb of Polygonum flaccidum Meissn.(family Polygonaceae),usually growing in damp area closed to water sources,distributed in most part of China.
Constituents:It contains glycosides and tannins.
Actions and Indications:It is used to clear away heat and toxic materials,remove blood stasis and arrest bleeding,cure infection,for the treatment of dysentery,stomachache,arthritis and wound.

味辛，性温
【功能主治】
[[清热解毒]]，散瘀[[止血]]。用于痢疾，[[胃疼]]，[[关节炎]]，[[跌打损伤]]等症。

20～50克，水煎入丸，入散。水煎内服。外用适量捣烂外敷。
【药理作用】
其流浸膏及其提取物对[[金黄色葡萄球菌]]、[[绿脓杆菌]]、[[溶血性]]链球菌有较强的[[抑菌]]作用。
